She has been on a journey of discipleship with Jesus since a special encounter with Him when she was 15 and desires to learn how to live & love from the best Teacher. Her dream is for the Church to become more like Jesus and believes that the human heart is set free through worship to receive this transformation-into-Christ by the Holy Spirit. Her music is divinely inspired and her voice is that of an angel.

Mary Hallman began her position as the Diocesan Secretary for Parish Life on Jan. 3, 2022.
She served as Director of Evangelization in the Diocese of Syracuse for eight years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Irvine, and a master’s degree in theology from Augustine Institute in Denver, Colo. She brings a fresh joy and enthusiasm to her role. The Holy Spirit is her guide!
